No — any Android phone running Android 5.0 or later works. You can use an old device you no longer use daily. Simply install the Notiflo app and connect it to your account.
Notiflo itself has no message limit — you pay a flat monthly fee regardless of volume. The actual sending speed depends on your carrier's limits and your device's capabilities (typically 100–300 SMS/hour per SIM).
Messages are queued and automatically sent when the device comes back online. With the Pro plan, you can connect multiple devices so sending automatically fails over to another available device.
